Requesting Permission to Edit an Event Listing on the Chapman Events Calendar
Permission to edit an event listing on the Chapman Events Calendar (events.chapman.edu) is granted initially to the submitter of the event through either the 25Live event scheduling system or the “add event” feature on events.chapman.edu. These individuals are considered the owners of the event.
If you are interested in becoming an editor on the event listing, you must request access from these owners. You can do this by going to the event listing in question, scrolling to the bottom of the live page, and clicking the “request editing access” link at the bottom.
Once you click this button, an email is sent to the event owner to take action and add you as an additional editor on the event. The web coordinators also have access to add an editor as needed, but they will always verify with the event owner that an editor can be added.
