Right Column Content Widgets – Logo Image Rotator
This is an article explaining how to add a Logo Image Rotator widget to your right column content section. The widget is used to showcase small images or logos.
Step 1: Select the page you’re going to update and click “Edit.”
Note: Make sure that the page you want to edit is highlighted in the site content menu.
Step 2: The editing pop-up will display basic information about your page in the first section. In the next section, you will see regions that represent different areas on your page that you can edit. Since we are focusing on right column content, select the corresponding region.
Step 3: Once you click on the right column region, it will expand and give you the option to select a widget. Select “Logo Image Rotator.” If you want to know how to add a new widget, refer to Adding a new widget.
Step 4: When you select “Logo Image Rotator,” you will see a place where you can add a label. This is used as a title that will be displayed right below the scrolling images in your widget.
Step 5: Now it is time to add your image. Make sure that you choose an image with the proper dimensions. If you need to resize your images, visit http://dimensions.chapman.edu/
After uploading your image, add image alt-text that accurately describes the image.
Step 6: The next section is titled “Links,” where you can add a link that directs the user to a page within the Chapman site tree, an external website, or a file. To learn more about the different links, go to types of links.
