Getting Started: Digital Signage

Important Notice Regarding Transition to New System

Chapman University has transitioned to a new digital signage platform, Carousel, as of January 2025. As of June 1, 2025, signage.chapman is no longer functional.

Overview

Chapman’s digital signage network consists of two parts:

  1. Various wall-mounted screens located across Chapman’s campus used for promotions.
  2. A central website found at https://chapman.carouselsignage.net used to submit bulletins and manage screen content.

Through the central website, Chapman members can submit designed bulletins and request them to be on the zones of their choice. A Bulletin Manager then reviews the bulletin to be approved or denied based on a variety of factors.

The digital signage network consists of more than 100 screens across campus.

Policy & Guidelines

Training and User Levels

Users must first take and pass a training course to have access to the Carousel Signage system. You can request access to this training by filling out this training request form. This training will equip you with all the tools and knowledge needed to submit and manage your bulletins.

Once you’ve been added to the course, you can find it by logging into Canvas using your Chapman credentials. If you have already gone through training, view the Digital Signage Canvas course here.

Carousel signage has two user levels:

  1. Bulletin Creator: If you are a student or staff member who will just use Carousel to submit bulletins for display on campus screens, you only need to complete the Bulletin Creator module. Once you finish, you’ll be able to access the new user request form. Be sure to complete the new user request form to initiate the set up of your digital signage access.
  2. Bulletin Manager: If you’re a staff member responsible for managing screens in your area, you must complete both the Bulletin Creator and Bulletin Manager modules to access the new user request form. Be sure to complete the new user request form to initiate the set up of your digital signage access. Student workers are not eligible to be Bulletin Managers.

Accessing Carousel

After passing the training course, submitting a new user request within the training, and receiving access to the system, you can use the link above to log in using your Chapman SSO credentials.
